The 2018 Chevy lineup features a lot of exciting updates across every segment, from compact cars to commercial vans, but the biggest changes are in its trucks, SUVs, and sports cars; some vehicles will see their first major changes in years.
The Camaro and Corvette, two of the most exciting cars in the Chevy lineup, will both see big updates this; in the Corvette’s case, this includes special editions. The Corvette celebrates its 65th anniversary this year with two special editions and the Corvette ZR1, which boasts horsepower over 700. The Camaro also gets a performance package that boosts it to 650 hp.
Then, there’s Chevy’s crossover SUV lineup of the Equinox, Tahoe, and Traverse. The Equinox has been downsized and given a turbo engine option, with a turbo-diesel expected later in 2018, while the Tahoe gets a new performance package, adaptive dampers, and a Rally Sport Truck kit. Whereas the Equinox got smaller, the Traverse is getting bigger, with improvements to the interior and its technologies.
The Colorado gets improvements to its off-road capabilities in the ZR2 trim, plus massive tires, a wider rear axle, spool-valve shock absorbers, and more. Then there’s the Express, Chevy’s passenger van, which will see major updates for the first time in years with powerful new engine options and more standard safety features.
